Wow! You have made an incredible decision, accepting Jesus into your life. He has such amazing plans for you, and this moment is so significant to Him!

When we say 'I am a Christian', we are declaring 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.' We are confessing that we stumble and need Christ to guide us. We’re professing that we are weak and need His strength to carry on. We are choosing to call upon His name, and receive the grace that He gives us all.

Being a Christian means believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was crucified on a cross to save your life, and that He rose from the dead. He did this all to bridge the gap caused by sin, that separates us from God, so that we can be reconciled and have full and personal relationship with Him.

Wherever you are, find a place of privacy, and pray this prayer from your heart to God:

Dear Lord Jesus, 

I believe that you died on the cross for me, so that we could live in personal relationship. I admit that I have not lived as you would want me to. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived separated from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life. I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
